If a family member skipped your wedding, but managed to attend one for a man that dumped you, would you be angry enough to unfollow them on Twitter?
Brody Jenner couldn’t be bothered to attend the international wedding of stepsister Kim Kardashian to husband Kanye West…but the sometimes reality star/sometimes DJ was front and center at the weekend wedding of Kim’s footballer ex, Reggie Bush.
Bush, starting running back for the Detroit Lions, married professional dancer (and Kim doppelganger) Lilit Avagyan at The Grand Del Mar in San Diego on Saturday. Jenner was in attendance with his girlfriend, Kaitlynn Carter, and uploaded several snapshots from the happy, black-tie affair to his Instagram page.
Jenner looked dapper in a fitted suit, while Carter turned heads in a black, strapless gown, coupled with a thigh-high split and sleek high-heeled sandals. In one photo from the wedding, Jenner and Carter are pictured embracing Bush and wife Lilit. The caption read:
“Congrats @reggiebush !!! #bushwedding.”
Brody recently addressed the rumors of in-house fighting in the Kardashian klan that rose after he ditched the Kimye wedding extravaganza in Europe and opted to host a DJ gig in Chicago, scheduled for the same weekend in May. Jenner denied that either a rift with stepmom Kris Jenner or Kim’s refusal to add Kaitlynn to the guest list had anything to do with his inability and/or unwillingness to attend.
He had to work. Plain and simple.
“Realistically, I had work commitments and it was a long way away. We talked about it! It was very simple. After I got the invite, I said, ‘Unfortunately, I won’t be able to attend but I wish you the best. I love you.’…And she was fine with it. So if she’s fine with it, why is everybody else not OK with it?”
Interestingly, Brody wasn’t the only Keeping Up with the Kardashians star invited to Reggie’s nups. We hear that Kim’s kid brother, troubled sock designer Rob Kardashian (who, like Brody, was another no-show at Kim and Kanye’s wedding), was also invited to attend.
