Young Frankenstein, the musical adaptation of Mel Brooks’ popular 1974 film, is the latest victim of nosediving ticket sales on Broadway. The show will end its run at the Hilton Theater in January 2009.

Young Frankenstein is one of a host of shows scheduled to close at the beginning of the year, including Spamalot, Hairspray, and Spring Awakening.
