Brittany Murphy “SNL” VIDEO Pulled
In a lampoon that couldn’t have come at a worse time, Saturday Night Live poked fun at late starlet Brittany Murphy in a sketch that aired three weeks ago. In a “Weekend Update” sketch that aired as actor Joseph Gordan-Levitt made his hosting debut, Abby Elliot appeared as a confused Brittany Seth Meyers as reported that the actress was recently fired from an upcoming film titled The Caller.
The scene deals with the news that Murphy’s abrupt exit from the Puerto Rican set of the film The Caller.
“It was reported this week that actress Brittany Murphy was fired from her upcoming film, ‘The Caller,’ for being a detriment to production,” says “Weekend Update” anchor Seth Meyers.
“And … oh noooo,” he adds as she appears next to him.
“I’m really honored to be here hosting ‘Saturday Night Live,’” a loopy says, playing Murphy.
“No, Brittany, you’re not hosting,” Meyers explains.
“I got a plan,” she says. “When the movie comes out, I’m going to go to the theater and say, ‘Booooo.” And then the audience will join in and say, ‘Boo’ … Best plan ever.”
The video has since been removed from the Internet. A web surfer searching phrases “Brittany Murphy SNL” or “Brittany Murphy Saturday Night Live” will find that the SNL spoof mocking the 8 Mile actress was pulled from sites like Hulu and NBC.com just hours after Brittany’s massive heart attack in Los Angeles early Sunday.
