The homecoming service for actress Brittany Murphy will take place this Thursday, Christmas Eve, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Hollywood Hills, according to a new report. The 32-year-old actress died after suffering cardiac arrest in the North Hollywood home she shared with her husband, Simon Monjack, and mother, Sharon Murphy.

Hospital staff at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles tried unsuccessfully to revive the Clueless actress after her collapse on Sunday. Brittany’s cause of death is listed as cardiac arrest, but autopsy results won’t be released for several weeks.

The funeral service is listed as “Strictly Private.”

Brittany joins an elite club of late celebrities who have met their eternal resting place at Forest Lawn, including Buster Keaton, John Ritter, and Liberace.
