Britney’s Circus album doesn’t hit retailers until this December but the pop music icon is already pounding the promotional circuit in anticipation of her upcoming album. And she’s leaving lots of positive buzz about her hot new comeback single, “Womanizer,” in her wake.

Britney was the guest of honor on NYC’s Z100 this morning, where she chatted with host Elvis Duran at length about her latest album plans to tour the world in the next few months.

“It’s a really cool song,” Britney said of “Womanizer.” “I like the fact that it’s so empowering for girls, because it’s basically saying, ‘We know what you’re up to.’ It’s about guys cheating on other girls and stuff and it’s kind of like a girl anthem.”
