Britney Spears is forging ahead with rumored plans to star in and produce a new TV show following her criticially-acclaimed guest spots on the CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother. The one-time pop star has pitched idea for the new series a number of Hollywood executives over the past week.

“Britney met Roy Bank, the president of Merv Griffin Entertainment, on Wednesday. It was a serious meeting and they spoke about various programme ideas - including a new music show,” TMZ reports.
