Britney’s got stage fright.

With her top-selling 2009 Circus World Tour set to kick off in New Orleans in March, tabloid snitches tell In Touch Weekly that pop singer Britney Spears is petrified her record-breaking comeback will come crashing to a halt when she hits the stage once again.

“Britney has a great time doing choreography and rehearsing, but when it’s time to perform, she gets nervous,” says a source. “She really wants to please her fans.”

With the exception of a few gigs at the House of Blues in 2007, Britney has not toured since 2004.
