Duffy Hudson and I are doing a fundraiser for the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and he's running 50 miles in October to raise $50K. A few weeks ago, Duffy was running in North Hollywood and actually crossed paths with Britney who was walking dogs with a friend of hers. Duffy stopped and told Britney that he was doing this event for the St. Jude Hospital. She gave us a quote to use: "Good luck, run hard." Duffy then wrote about the Britney encounter on his blog (http://stjuderun.blogspot.com) on February 24th. Lo and behold, just 10 days later, Britney announces she's donating a photo to raise money for the very same hospital. Could it be that Duffy planted the idea in her head? Coincidence? I think not.
