Britney Spears St. Jude Children’s Hospital Charity Auction: Britney Spears Dance Class Photo Auction St. Jude
Britney Spears is selling off a photo of herself and a group of ten children she has been teaching at North Hollywood’s Millennium Dance Complex for St. Jude Children’s Hospital. The photograph will be given to a celebrity photo agency to syndicate worldwide later this week. All proceeds from the sale of the photo will go to the Memphis, Tennessee hospital, which treats young patients with cancer.

This story is very interesting! Duffy Hudson and I are doing a fundraiser for the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and he’s running 50 miles in October to raise $50K. A few weeks ago, Duffy was running in North Hollywood and actually crossed paths with Britney who was walking dogs with a friend of hers. Duffy stopped and told Britney that he was doing this event for the St. Jude Hospital. She gave us a quote to use: “Good luck, run hard.” Duffy then wrote about the Britney encounter on his blog (http://stjuderun.blogspot.com) on February 24th. Lo and behold, just 10 days later, Britney announces she’s donating a photo to raise money for the very same hospital. Could it be that Duffy planted the idea in her head? Coincidence? I think not.
