Britney Spears Parents Support Singer In Custody Battle

Jamie and Lynne Spears are supporting their estranged daughter’s bid for child custody in hearing set for next month in Los Angeles Superior Court. The divorced parents of pop tart Britney Spears had provided the legal team representing former son-in-law Kevin Federline with voluntarily statements regarding Brit’s erratic behavior and parenting skills, but in a stunning turn of events had a last minute change of heart and refused to sign the statements.
“They love their daughter,” says an In Touch insider. “Once they realized how much this would embarrass her in front of the world – and be on record forever – they couldn’t do it.”
