Daddy Spears to the rescue! The Spears family is taking steps to keep Britney Spears far away from Hollywood wildchild Lindsay Lohan while both stars are in London.

Britney just kicked off the European leg of her Circus Tour and is currently performing live at the city’s O2 Arena, while Lindsay is also in the British capital — allegedly stalking former girlfriend Samantha Ronson…but you didn’t hear that from us.

Given the girls’ lengthy history of all-night partying and trips to rehab, the Spears Clan isn’t taking any chances that any of Lindsay’s bad juju will rub off on Brit.

A spy tells The Mirror: “Lindsay is a bit of a loose cannon. She landed in London knowing that her ex Sam Ronson and Britney are in town. She made a big deal about arriving by posting pictures of herself in London on Twitter.”

“She and Lindsay used to be friends, but it was all about going out partying. Brit’s family are trying to steer her away from the every night extremes that Lindsay gets up to.”
