Britney Spears Heidi Montag Same Sex Marriage Support

Following his showdown over gay marriage with Miss California Carrie Prejean at Sunday night’s 2009 Miss USA Pageant, celebrity blogger Perez Hilton used the power of social networking to poll his celebrity pals for their opinion on the controversial subject of same sex marriage.
“Love is love!” Britney Spears wrote on her Twitter.com page in response to Perez’ question about gay marriage. “People should be able to do whatever makes them happy!”
Heidi Montag, The Hills’ resident outspoken Christian, also championed same-sex marriage on her Twitter.
“God says in the bible that we should love our neighbor and he created us all as equals. I know in my heart that gays and lesbians should have the same government rights that Spencer and I will when we get married,” Heidi wrote in Tweet on Tuesday. “So, yes, this blonde Christian believes in gay marriage and I hope to one day go to YOUR wedding, Perez!!!”

I’m just curious…Why is Perez seeking out the approval of his political position from all these glambots and then posting it? If you added the IQ of both these young ladies together you would get a pretty poor bowling score or at least a pretty decent round of golf score. Is he really so deluded to think that their opinion on anything has had more than 2 minutes of thoughtful consideration and analysis? I’m sure this weeks choice of fingernail color used up more brain-time.

Actually, 1st Corinthians specifially says in chapter 7 that all homosexuals and adulterers have no place in Heaven. Heidi is claiming the name of Christ, yet goes against his very nature? thats not ok. I don’t care whether or not she truly wants to be Christian. thats between her and God, however in no way i’m i going to stand by and let her represent God and his Word in a false or opposing way. What she says is pure blasphemy. When she says that God commands us to love one another and that we are created equals, she takes the verse completely out of context. That verse is meant to symbolize the love that we should have for people in general, not in an intimate way. She is wrong.
