A Britney Spears insider, being identified only as ‘Sam,’ staged a ‘hit and run’ car accident by slamming his vehicle into another friend’s auto in an effort to avoid being served with a subpoena in the singer’s custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline.

Sam arrived at Venice Beach, California home on Monday night to K-Fed’s legal term and a bundle of legal papers waiting to be served.

“He drove into Aaron’s car and sped off,” according to celebrity tattles. “He didn’t even obey the nearby stop sign”

Britney Spears is currently being investigated for child abuse.
