Britney Spears has kicked her boyfriend to the curb — professionally at least.

The pop singer – who has been dating talent agent Jason Trawick, 38, since March 2009 – has decided to call time on their professional relationship to focus on their personal one.

A spokesperson for the pop star confirmed the scoop in a statement Tuesday: “Britney and Jason have decided to end their professional relationship and focus on their personal relationship. Since wrapping her recent world tour, Spears has been busy in the studio working on her next album.”

Jason had represented Spears through the New York-based entertainment agency, William Morris Endeavor Entertainment, since 2006. The couple split briefly last August, but soon reconciled.
