Shady Britney Spears friend the bankrupt Sam Lufti has been shopping the pop tart’s diary to a tabloid in the U.K.

The diary entries go into detail about Britney’s drug use and her rocky relationship with mom Lynne Spears.

“The diary contains entries about how her drug use sprialed out of control,” says a spy.

“Sam e-mailed the tabloid saying he had Britney’s diaries,” says a Life & Style Magazine source.

“They contain Britney’s deepest feelings at the most troubling time of her life. Sam also said he had e-mails and firsthand insight into Britney’s life. He said the information was sensational and that he already had offers in excess of $1 million.”

“Sam was also offering to sell out Britney on drug use, lesbian sex, and what happened at the VMAs.”

Sam is alleged to have snagged access to some of Brit’s personal e-mails:

“One was from Jamie (Brit’s Dad) to Britney asking her to find God. He also wrote about how he’d battled addiction how he blamed himself for Britney’s predicament.”

Sam demanded $2 million for the tell-all entries:

“The tabloid flew a reporter to Los Angeles to continue negotiations.”

“Sam wouldn’t go back down on the price. It was $2 million or nothing. Sam said it had to be worth it because he was risking everything.”

“The deal was almost done, but Sam demanded cash up front for his story. Ultimately, the publication refused.”
