Celebrity tattles are dishing that Britney Spears enjoyed a cocaine binge that left her high during her low-energy performance at the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night.

According to celebrity mole Jonathan Jaxson:

“I have been in touch with someone very close to the Spears camp who has revealed to me the allegations she claims to be true.

Prior to Spears departing to the VMA’s she began drinking and doing drugs. Yes, drugs. Not a pill, but cocaine allegedly. She was so wasted she nearly fell prior to going out, during her performance and during her departure off stage.

Right before Spears went on stage she attempted to call her children who were not available. The kids were staying at her ex husband K-Feds house with Britney’s mother and father. She shed many tears at the fact she was unable to reach them, calling out for them after her disastrous performance.

Spears was going to boycott the show all together but was afraid of loosing every bit of her career. “She took no direction in what anyone had to tell her or advise her on and she was absolutely rebellious with no talent anymore,” the source ads.

What do you think? Wasn’t she moving entirely too slowly to have been doing lines so close to taking the stage? Cocaine is an upper. Thoughts?

No way. If she had done coke just prior to going to the VMA’s she would have been bouncing off the walls. But if she was coming down from a bender from the previous night. Thats a another story.

But doesn’t cocaine make people paranoid?? She probably saw her self on the screens, realized she was too fat to be that naked and then started thinking everyone was talking about her….You could tell she was thinking about what everyone else was thinking. Lay off the coke Brit Brit, it doesn’t make you skinny….now Vicodin, that’s another story. You can see the effects of that on Nicole Ritchie or Chandler from “Friends”….you have pain don’t you? just kidding. Say NO TO DRUGS !

If you do enough coke it can actually put you into kind of a hypnotic state, especially if you’ve been drinking. This story doesn’t surprise me.

She was paranoid, and probably wondering what everyone was thinking. I bet she thought about running off the stage a couple times, and probably came close to doing it. I’m actually surprised she didn’t. She seemed coked out. Not loose, but uptight, and worried.

i would honestly not be suprised if she had been doing coke and drinking before the show. she was nervous and she has been reported to be one who used to party when she was younger…hence why she stayed so skinny. but if you do take alcohol as well as coke it does put you in a state where you are slower and more paranoid about things around you. yes, if she had been on coke alone she would have been moving faster and would have been more energetic but if she had also done something like painkillers or alcohol as well then it would have slowed her down and made her the way she was on stage. i would know from personal experience with mixing those. either way, she was definitely on something, or she would have been her normal self and would have been able to perform the way she has in the past. besides, what happens in vegas stays in vegas anyways, right? and honestly, who cares if she IS doing drugs anyways. it’s her life, her money. let her spend it the way she sees fit. it may not be the best way to spend it, but if she can afford it then who are we to tell her what she should and should not do.

What do you think?
