Britney Spears is broke. The trouble-prone pop tart has depleted her $61 million fortune following years of excessive spending, celebrity spies reveal to In Touch Weekly. Dad Jamie Spears, who is currently acting as the conservator of his daughter’s once-massive estate, has hired his own team of accountants to sort out Britney’s money mess. It’s too little, too late, sources on the inside of the drama report. Over the past few years, Britney’s lost $9 million in endorsements and $50 million from not touring.

“It’s staggering how much money has been used up,” a Spears family insider told In Touch.

And just how much money is being used up? Well, Brit’s reportedly dropping $25,000 per week for security from Advanced Security Concepts, a firm of ex Israeli commandos turned celebrity bodyguards.

During her last breakdown, the singer purchased three new Mercedes-Benz, one with a pricetag totaling $188,025:

“Instead of getting her car washed, she’d buy a new one.”

Britney also makes regular visits to psychiatrist, Dr. Deborah Nadel, who charges $250 to $325 for private sessions.

“She’s spending about a fifth of what she used to,” the In Touch insider adds.
