Britney Spears Booked On Hit & Run Charges
Britney Spears has been formally booked on charges related to her August 2007 hit & run.
A LAPD spokesman confirms: “at approximately 9:25 PM Miss Britney Spears checked into the Van Nuys County Jail for a court ordered booking.
“She was put through standard booking procedures which included booking photographs, fingerprinting and collection of information.
“Britney was at all time cooperative in the process. She was there approximately 45 minutes.”
Officer Mike Lopez said: “She was fine, cooperative. She did her business and came out.”
The singer was ordered to remove her pink wig prior to being formally booked:
The police spokesman said: ‘If a person is wearing a wig and it looks like she is trying to disguise herself we would ask her to take it off.’
