Is Britney Spears writing a book? That’s the word from snitching snoops over at People. Britney is so livid over mom Lynne Spears’ plans to publish an explosive tell-all she is reportedly penning one of her own!

Britney told a pal: “She is trying to make a quick buck.”

“She says she’s not sure if she’ll go through with it – but I can’t really trust her.”

“I’m sure she’ll make it look like she was a great mother and all my problems have nothing to do with her” So Britney plans to write her own book. She said: “I am tired of other people writing about me.”

“I want to speak for myself. If it ends my career, so be it. People appreciate the truth. I’ll be bigger than ever.”
