Her parents are aghast??? What about God? I’ll bet he moves the end times up just to keep the ordination from happening!

How old does she have to be to be past all of these “phases” she is going through. I see rehab in her future again, cause she’s gotta be smokin’ something!

I spent 25 years working on a book in the religion and spirituality area facing tremendous obstacles since I was in declining health from a rare progressive illness. Despite Original Faith’s strong endorsements, no trade publisher or agent would look at the manuscript or proposal – despite my master’s from one of the country’s top div schools (U of Chicago) and a second MA in counseling. And experiential qualifications that are just as strong.

Why? No “marketing platform.” As Literary Market Place states, “If you are submitting a nonfiction book proposal without a marketing platform you are wasting your time.” Like all industries, once my baby boomer generation took the helm, book publishing became 100% about money.

Madonna and Jane Fonda and any number of former Miss Americas, for example, have written in the spirituality area, usually publishing with the major multimedia conglomerates.

My best guess is that “BS,” so to speak, has a book deal on tap…
