So by now you’ve heard: Former X Factor judge Britney Spears is officially back on the market after ending her one-year engagement to Hollywood manager Jason Trawick.
But don’t expect any exclusive deets about the trial and tribulations of loving America’s fleeting pop princess. Trawick has signed a confidentiality agreement that will prevent him from ever discussing his relationship with Britney.
That titillating prospect of a tell-all memoir looks like a no-go.
Trawick has officially resigned as Britney’s co-conservator, leaving her father Jamie in sole control of decisions concerning her well-being.
“As two mature adults, they came to the difficult decision to go their separate ways while continuing to remain friends,” Britney’s rep told People on Friday.
Britney and Jason — an item since 2010 — released a joint statement, with Britney saying that she will “always adore him and we will remain great friends.” Jason added: “As this chapter ends for us, a new one begins. I love and cherish her and her boys [Preston, 7, Jayden 6] and we will be close forever.”
The “(You Drive Me) Crazy” hitmaker has returned her $90,000 diamond engagement ring to Jason. Trawick commissioned L.A. jeweler-to-the-stars Neil Lane to create the tiara-motif sparkler with a round, white diamond in a handmade platinum setting. Brit made no effort to hide that special gift from photographers while celebrating Jason’s 40th birthday in Las Vegas in December 2011.
