Bret Michaels is hoping the third really is the charm as he looks to VH1-again-in hope of finding his soulmate. After splitting with Rock of Love Season 2 champ Ambre Lake, Bret has signedon for another season of his wildly-popular dating reality season.

Because the Poison frontman will be taping the show as he criss-crosses the country on tour, the Celebreality network has developed a new concept for Season 3-look out for the premiere of Rock of Love Bus with Bret Michaels early next year.

The new season will find the rock star on the bus with his lady suitors in a series of challenges, like Truck Stop Olympics, a BBQ cook-off, and Mud Bowl 3, in hopes of winning a place in Bret’s heart.

Maybe what Bret Michaels needs is to date someone his own age and stop messing with these young girls. He is an old has been and should look into some therapy. What he is doing to these girls is plain ridiculous and just looks like publicity (can’t get it from his singing/tours). Your time came and went buddy, so slow down and find someone your own age now!

I agree in part; the girls that go for this kind of ‘competition’ are also to blame. They dont really, truly care for Bret, they mostly want to be on TV- most of them.

Bret, you do need an intervention. Therapy of some kind- which is not a bad thing. Did you ever think the reasons your relationships dont work out is because you continue to choose the same kind of young girl with no life experience? You came close with Ambre and I dont believe you 2 split for reasons mentioned. I think it’s like all your break ups… you cant help but cheat and being the sex addict you are, you MUST have sex in every city on tour. You simply cant be faithful and no self respecting girl will sign on for that baggage. You go for young girls because no ADULT would give you a second shot. I wanted Ambre to ‘win’ but knew it wouldnt work. I knew her maturity would get in the way for you.

Your show now is SO obviously a publicity stunt for your career which makes true Poison fans sick (Im no longer a fan after being one since 88). It was obvious when you did a second season. It’s white trashy to watch this train wreck (I know, you just cant look away) of mostly low self esteem girls HUMILIATE themselves to be with someone who will inevitably cheat on them, never be around except for off tour booty calls and cant even remain equal and objective during the show.

Your best bet is to return on hands and knees to Kristi and your girls (how do you think they will feel when they are old enough to see this foolishness; if it were my dad, Id be embarrassed) and for once in your life, make a true commitment and work it out.

These chippees that a TV show will afford you are nothing more than extended one night stands, celeb seekers and reality show junkies hoping to be ‘discovered’. NO ONE from a show will EVER work. Get help Bret… and I say that out of caring, not cruelty. You might learn something.

Bret, as a long-time bus rider if you can’t make bus travel salable, nobody can. Here’s to the greatest bus fan since John Madden!

    Dear Bret,

All things the prior comments have said have from a grain to a lot of truth in them, but I am not concerned with judging you and I wish you happiness. However I have to say that the image of “Mickey” from your new show is disturbing. This person was beyond a wreck; I would say she was borderline mentally retarded and in need of every kind of help. It bothered me to see her linger on your set after being eliminated, and having to be removed by your camera crew. There she was in all her mental illness, stumbling thanks to alcohol or drugs or both, disillusioned, all in her orange skimpy bathing suit. It was cruel to expose this defective person to the general public. Can’t you screen these women a little more thoroughly before subjecting them to devastating humiliation all for the sake of your finding “love”???

    Bret,

I am your age, and frankly see you as a needy boy trapped in a mans body. You are completely ego driven. What will you do when you are old and wrinkled? And what do you really have to offer? You are an empty shell, trying to be filled by a needy woman.

Brett……I watched your 1st 2 seasons and was a member on last year’s site and now I am totally disguested. YOU need to find someone your own age. This whole I still feel like I am 28 crap WHATEVER!!!!! I am an ex stripper and still feel 28 too but you don’t see me out there trying to find someone half my age (even though I could) I am busy trying to raise the 2 daughters I have into some really cool respectable girls. And FYI YES they know “mommy” used to dance and they also know Mommy used to know you b4 you were famous. These girls you are choosing from are about young enough to be your kid, that is enbarrasing, did you ever stop to think there might be someone out there around your age thats still HOT and that can still HANG like she used to? I am sure I am not the only one.
Good luck they say the 3rd time’s a charm, i think it’s yet another train wreck for you my friend.
Look me up if you are ever in west Michigan, never mind…..I’ll find you if Im in the mood.

Sorry for venting but really Brett…..REALLY!?
Every comment I am readiing seems to say the same thing. YOU are ruing any chance you have for any real success at this point, I hope VH1 is paying you a whole lot of $$ and that your royalties from the good ol’ days are gonna keep ya till you are old and grey.
I feel bad that you can’t find the one…..but the right one has been right there all along you just over looked her. Sorry you cancelled your concert # The House of Blues a few years back I was so looking forward to seeing you again.

I’ve watched the last 2 & 1/2 seasons and have to say that this seasons girls, by far, have to be the skankiest (is that a real word?) to date! My 18 year old son watches with me and even a hormone-driven young man gets nauseated watching the girl-on-girl, seemingly retarded (sorry if this offends the truly mentally ill), screaming, vomit-filled booze fest! As a 40 year-old, I really enjoy his music and we usually get a kick out of the show- but this season seems to be lacking any girls that may have some sense and self-control (except perhaps Beverly?). I wish Brett lots of luck and hope that he finds what he’s looking for. With 2 young children, perhaps it would be best if he remained single until they were older; then they don’t get attached to someone, only to have their heart broken again, again, and again.

Well, I think this last R.O.L 3 has hurt your career. You picked the wrong girl again… I expect you to be single again within 5 months. I can honestly say when you let Daisy go, that was a bad mistake. I can honestly say, I’ll never watch or listen to Brett ever again. Extremely done with Brett Michaels….. Sorry Brett… Nada,None, Zip disappointed in your taste of women…and boring content….

I still love and respect Brett.I sincerely think he is looking for love. It just hasn’t worked out. I am each one of us has a friend that just cannot find “the one.” We should not question his motives, but question the motives in the girls. This 3rd time around, he was down to the 2 best choices. He could have gone either way, Taya or Mindy. I am happy that he picked Taya. She is a strong mother and can handle anything that comes her way. She doesn’t sweat the small stuff and has proven to be able to handle her emotions very well. Not to mention, she is focused, ambitious and very career oriented (and it doesn’t matter what she does for work!) Who are we to cast the 1st stone. We did see that Mindy is great and a real person, BUT, she IS always in funks and a person of Brett’s level in his life cannot subject himself with a person that is emotionally demanding. Mindy needs an “outlet,” and I haven’t heard on the show that she even has a profession or a focus. This is why Taya is a better “fit” for Brett. Taking the ladies on the tour bus was the smartest test to do. After watching the reunion, I really hope that Taya doesn’t ruin this because he is a great person with an awesome heart. Mindy still wouldn’t be my next choice because she is emotionally demanded and he will not always have the time to get her out of the “funks.” It really wouldn’t have lasted anyway.

We need to stop attacking Taya and hope for the best for the 2 of them. I really hope that the 3rd time is a charm.

I have seen some of those shows and i am deeply disturbed by this. If Bret Michels was that rich as he is supposed to be, can he not afford to attend prostitutes instead of feign love or interest in those girls?
