BreatheHeavy.com Shutting Down: Jamie Spears vs. Britney Fan Site
Britney Spears’ camp is shutting down a fansite dedicated to the pop tart.
BreatheHeavy.com won’t be breathing much longer if Jamie Spears has anything to say about it.
On Friday, the popular Web site announced that it may be shutting down due to an alleged legal clash with the pop star’s father and co-conservator, Jamie Spears.
“I have been battling the conservatorship Britney is currently placed under for months now. When I did not conform to the requests and demands Britney’s management and father, Jamie Spears, recently put upon BreatheHeavy to stay quiet, they in turn became angry and malicious, launching, what I feel is an unjust attack, against me and my [Web site],” Jordan Miller, who runs the Web site, wrote in a message.
Miller has been running the site for the past five years.
He alleges that Jamie Spears told him in a phone conversation, “I will destroy your ass.” Miller also claims that he had received a threat of legal injunction unless he were to shut down the site by 3 PM on Friday, over copyright infringement laws relating to use of Britney’s music and image..
“Britney doesn’t control her affairs. You are an uber fan who’s gone a little too far,” Brad Rose, one of Britney’s attorneys, is accused of telling the site.
By Saturday morning, many of the site’s pages and content had been removed, but Jordan Miller believes Team Britney’s sudden interest in destroying his site stems from something more personal that copyright issues.
“The real issue, in my opinion, is hidden behind these Copyright Infringement claims, rather (sic) management, particularly her father / conservator, Jamie Spears, who makes $18,000 a month off his daughter, is desperately trying to hide the truth about Britney’s imprisonment and shut anyone up who disagrees with their conniving and selfish exploitation of an innocent mother of two pushed back into the lime-light just several months after a hospitalization.”

Jordan is a 20 year old student who lives in Nevada… Sure he went to far quite often but he’s just your typical young kid.
Far as I can say, being anti-conservatorship doesn’t NOT mean being pro-Lufti or whatever. I can say I am TOTALLY ANTI-Lufti, but was glad for the lawsuit he pressed, only because I think the courts and all these lawyers are banking on all this bullshit.
Do you know that there have been families of Alzheimer’s patients that have gone to court to request conservatorship and have been DENIED???
Come on people if she was that ill, she would not be allowed around her children let alone to go on a tour. She would be BED-RIDDEN.
Do your own “research”. Isn’t it a bit funny that there are TONS of other fansites out there with google and ticket-master links and non of them are being shut down? Its as if whenever someone questions this BS loud enough, they are forced to shut up.
Hey maybe I’m wrong. But if I am… If Jordan and millions of her other fans are wrong… Why isn’t Jamie, Inc coming out and saying anything about ANY of this? Please. She is the biggest pop star in the WORLD. Have they not ever heard of the words “press conference” or “interview”?
Instead it honestly DOES look like they’re hiding behind restraining orders and copyright infringements. Because if they’re not… They OWE her fans some kind of explanation!!!

I don’t remember him being pro-Lufti. He was pro-truth. As I said before, altho I am ANTI Lufti, Britney WAS drawn to him for a reason. WHAT was/were/are those reasons?
WHY isn’t Brit allowed to have her own cell phone? WHY isn’t she allowed to make her own appointments. WHAT exactly is the nature of her illness?
WHY aren’t we allowed to know? As fans we would support her regardless.
What disgusts me is that the “Britney” camp would like us to think we’re supposed to buy her albums and go to her shows… But we’re not supposed to know anything about who she is and we’re not allowed to love and accept her for whatever flaws she has.
I just can’t imagine that she is competent enough to tour and not competent enough to be under a forced permanent conversatorship. I think that’s what Jordan/Breatheheavy had questioned from the start. Not Jamie, not any other member of her family… But that a legal standing that is reserved for those so ill that are usually confined to their bedrooms or hospitals with illness… Yet here she is on a world tour and recording albums?
So something doesn’t match. The conservatorship or the tour. One of them isn’t best for her. Its impossible for it to be both.
That’s just MY opinion based on MY understanding of the law… And I’m not alone. Millions of her fans are wondering the same thing. Jordan/Breatheheavy wondered the same thing. I think that was around the time Jamie started demanding the website to close. And that’s when, admittedly Jordan started to get bratty and defiant, and THAT is when people thought he was friends with Lufti. When in reality yes he DID for a LONG time post about YAY Lufti’s gone, etc… Just like everyone else.
Anyway, itd all be put to rest if her “camp” now would talk. WHY aren’t they?

As usual, there were TONS of her fans wondering why no one came forward and said, Gosh, that was scary he had an allergy. The interview that came out shortly afterward skirted it so badly that it WAS WEIRD. That’s all that it was… A question. Why isn’t her camp saying anything? We question that about everything not just hospital visits.
I’ll tell you why we question everything so much – It doesn’t mean its sinister it means it GETS OLD that as fans we’re ONLY allowed to be fans of BRITNEY THE ARTIST, not BRITNEY THE PERSON.
Why do I say that? Because we are no longer ALLOWED to know anything “real” about her. That’s just insulting really!!
