Kanye West has followed in his reality star squeeze’s sleazy footsteps by starring in his very own sex tape…only to have it “stolen” from his computer and shopped around to media.
Attorneys for the “Flashing Lights” rapper, 35, have confirmed that Kanye is definitely the man in the throes of passion with Mony Monn — a 25-year-old model with a strong resemblance to his girlfriend Kim Kardashian — in said tape. The 20-minute video, filmed in a Los Angeles hotel room earlier this year, is up for grabs for an asking price in the neighborhood of $100,000.
Kanye is “freaking out” that the tape is being shopped around, snoopsters say. Hoping to nab the person trying to make a buck off of the sought-after footage, West’s legal team has threatened media outlets with civil action if they publish images from the tape.
Kanye’s lawyer Lisa M Buckley wrote in a legal document obtained by AllHipHop.com:
“Be advised that the screen shot, as well as the tape from which the screen shot was taken, were illegally obtained and believed to have been stolen from Mr. West’s computer. Your posting, advertising, marketing, displaying and otherwise disseminating the stolen screen shot and/or other materials on the tape constitute actionable violations of Mr. West’s rights of privacy and publicity.”
Sex.com has reportedly offered $1 million for the footage with the hope that “Kimye” will “become the first celebrity sex-tape power couple.”
How charming…That will look just great monogrammed on their His and Hers towels.
One intriguing mystery around the tape is the identity of the woman having sex with Kanye in the video. Spywitnesses tell Examiner.com that the leading lady is actually Kim herself. Kanye paid Monn a six-figure sum to say that she is the girl in the video, the site alleges.
Examiner’s insider claims it’s all an elaborate ploy to protect Kim, who is already a sex tape veteran after that 2007 sex romp with Ray J jumpstarted her career.
