As proud dad Brad Pitt awaits the reported birth of twins with longtime girlfriend Angelina Jolie, the actor has been e-mailing ex-wife Jennifer Aniston and encouraging the thirty-nine to start a family before her uterus is covered in cobwebs.

“Aniston was stunned by the e-mails because she and Pitt hadn’t seen each other since their shocking split three years ago….Jen told me she almost fainted when she opened her e-mail in early November and Brad’s name popped up. Apparently he’d read an interview where Jen talked about having a baby or anything,” according to a new report.

“He started off by saying he hopes she isn’t bitter about him moving on, then told her about having children is most incredible thing that’s ever happened to him. And he encouraged her to go for it.”

“She wrote back thanking him and told him she would love to have two children and she’s seriously considering adopting. That started a string of e-mails between them that’s been going on for three months…”
