Brad Pitt bought Angelina Jolie lingerie for her birthday on June 4. The Inglourious Basterds actor – flew from Los Angeles to the couple’s rented Long Island, NY mansion to throw a special surprise party for the mother of six last week.

A source tells In Touch Weekly: “Brad made an effort to be with Angelina. He was really hoping they would get along and enjoy themselves.”

“He presented her with a specially commissioned painting of their family, as well as lingerie from Angelina’s favorite store, Agent Provocateur.”
