Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s Jolie-Pitt Foundation donated $1 million to educational aid for children affected by the war in Iraq-in Iraq and the United States.

The generous gift will pay for books and supplies to help send Iraqi children to school, benefit school rehabilitation programs, and provide aid to the Armed Services YMCA Operation Hero Program, which offers tutoring and counseling to 2,500 kids across America.
