Brad Pitt Angelina Jolie Ethiopian Boy Adoption

Dear God, here comes another one. In celebration of the upcoming birth of their twin girls, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are adding another child to their multicultural Brat Pack. This time it is an Ethiopian boy who is tugging at the heart-strings of Hollywood’s Most Beautiful Couple.
“Angelina was pretty far along in the process of adopting a beautiful baby that captured the couple’s heart when she and Brad got the surprise of their life and found out they were expecting.”
“Angie and Brad have wanted an African boy for the last couple of years,” an OK! insider spills. “They were initially going to have that adoption follow the addition of Pax last year, but that all changed when Angie got pregnant with twins last fall.”

I find this terribly disturbing. Not because she and Mr. Pitt have chosen to adopt again.. but because they don’t seem to be held by the same troubles and laws that other adoptive families MUST abide by.
In the time that she has adopted Pax and the expected adoption of another child in Ethiopa, most adoptive families will have only just made it to the middle (at best) of a long waiting list.
In fact, if she does complete an adoption before march 2009, I myself will still be waiting for my own adopted child to be assigned to me. And still nowhere near bringing him or her home.
Before anyone starts whining for the sake of Saint Jolie-Pitt… please note that I started my adoption around the same time as the Jolie-Pitt’s initial adoption of young Pax. We were in the same program. When Vietnam closed their doors to adoption, they had a child and we didn’t. Leaving us with the only option of adopting elsewhere. Had it not been that we were on the same program for adoption, I don’t think I would have been able to pick Mrs. Jolie out of a line up.
In the end… it pays to be famous. Because wealth, and dedication have nothing to do with it clearly.

I feel bad when I hear about people like Jaz who patiently wait to adopt and do all the right things legally. And it makes me sick that Jolie/Pitt are only buying their kids for publicity, paparazzi photo ops, and hire six nannies to care for the kids. The moments you see them actually trying to be parents is when they have movies waiting to be released and its a press junkett. Hang in there, Jaz, and good things will come to you.
