Boy George U.S Visa Denied
The New York City Department of Sanitation won’t be treated to a free concert courtesy of Boy George, after all. The State Department has denied the one-time Culture Club star a visa to enter the U.S because he is presently awaiting trial on false imprisonment charges in his native Britain. The singer had planned a thank-you show for the City of New York Department of Sanitation’s Family Day on August 17th. He performed community service for that department following a conviction for filing a false police report in 2006.
