Eighties pop star Boy George was sentenced to 15 months in prison on Friday for falsely imprisoning a male escort in his London flat in 2007.

Boy George, whose real name is George O’Dowd, was found guilty of false imprisonment last month after Norwegian Audun Carlsen claimed the one-time Culture Club crooner handcuffed him to his bed and beat him with a metal chain when he tried to escape a naked photoshoot gone wrong.
