“Booty Call” Text Message Sparked Chris Brown-Rihanna Fight

The violent brawl between Rihanna and Chris Brown started after the R&B star received a text message from another woman, the New York Daily News reported Wednesday.

According to Daily News insiders, Rihanna became enraged after seeing the text message and got out of the car, Chris tried to pull her back in, eventually become annoyed and began hitting Rihanna.

“He got a booty call. He got a text. Rihanna saw it and she got upset. They started to argue. She got out of the car. He wanted her to get back in, so he grabbed her. She pulled away. That’s when she’s told people he hit her.”

Rihanna has reportedly been receiving calls from Chris, sources say.

“Chris has been trying to contact her. So far she hasn’t taken his call, her family is on their way to be with her. She has some close girlfriend looking after her.”

The spy laughed off reports claiming that the fight began after Chris became angry with his girlfriend for spending too much time with producer Timbaland.

“That’s coming out of the Chris Brown camp, It’s despicable. They’re blaming the victim. She’s not prone to that kind of behavior. . . He’s the one who’s steppin’ out.”
