Bono The New York Times Op-Ed Column

Beginning this month, U2 frontman Bono will pen an opinion column in The New York Times, where the legendary rocker and humanitarian will air out his views on a diverse range of topics.
The column will not be a regular feature, but will appear occasionally, according to Times editorial page editor Andrew Rosenthal.
He says, “(Bono) is an extraordinary man who thinks deeply about his art and the major issues confronting the world.”
Bono, a champion in raising awareness about the African AIDS epidemic, will also record a podcast for The Times.
