Black Eyed Peas Hard Rock Hotel Santa Monica Concert Shut Down Over Noise

Four Santa Monica police officers pulled the plug on a Black Eyed Peas outdoor concert late Monday night.

A rep for the Hard Rock Hotel Santa Monica tells E! that the Peas were about ninety minutes into their show in the hotel’s alfresco event space when the cops arrived. Apparently, locals as far as two miles away were complaining about the loud music.
“Fergie said they would close the show with ‘Where Is the Love?’ ” the rep said. “She said it was for our friends—the police—in the lobby.”
A rep for the San Diego Police Department also confirms the shutdown:
“They had agreed to play only until 11:15,” the spokesperson said.
