‘Bionic Woman’ Cancelled; NBC Cancels ‘Bionic Woman’

NBC has pulled the plug on it’s short-lived sci-fi drama after just eight episodes. Producers are blaming a substanial drop in ratings for the decision to drop the starring vehicle for British actress Michelle Ryan. The pilot episode raked in a massive 13.9 million viewers but by the eighth installment, the figures had dropped to just 5.9 million.

“This is devastating news for the cast. They loved working on the program. Michelle is going to be very upset. This was a huge break for her - a chance in a lifetime,” an NBC mole reports to the Daily Mirror.

“The show has been criticized. People complained about the poor storylines. But the writers have hardly any time to work with the characters. They were just getting used to them.”
