Justin Bieber Investigated for Battery After Run-In with Neighbor
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s spokesperson Steve Whitmore confirms that pop crooner Justin Bieber is being investigated for battery after an early morning incident at his home in Calabasas.
At approximately 9 a.m. PST Tuesday, police responded to a call for assistance near Bieber’s upscale home. The accuser, a neighbor, told deputies the singer threatened him and made physical contact with him during an argument.
Spywitnesses say Justin’s souped-up car caused the alleged scuffle. The trouble began after the Canadian-born star allegedly drove his “loud” whip down the street “super fast,” which apparently doesn’t go over very well with sleepy neighbors.
Sources close to Justin’s security team claim that the still-unidentified male neighbor stormed over to the hitmaker’s house and began screaming at him, complaining that his friends threw wild parties at the house while Justin was on tour. The singer told the man to get off his property.
Despite the complainant’s remarks to police, witnesses say there was no physical contact between the pair, only loud words exchanged. The incident remains under investigation.
Justin has taken a beating in the media in recent weeks. After a troubled week of shows at London’s O2 Arena last months, the 19-year-old crooner was forced to deny allegations that he’s battling a secret drug addiction and bound for rehab.
