The new Beverly Hills, 90210 has been dropped from Australian TV after just four episodes.

Australia’s Channel 10 has cancelled the revamped version of the iconic 1990s teen drama due to low ratings.

“90210 is an excellent show that clearly resonated with a younger audience, but it didn’t have the kind of numbers needed to stay in this intensely competitive environment,” a spokesperson for the network explained in a statement released Thursday.

Beverly Hills, 90210 averaged an audience of 616,000 viewers during its month of broadcast on Channel 10.
