Betty White: From Saturday Night Live to the Academy Awards?

After her top-rated appearance on this weekend’s SNL, the nation has once again gone batty for Betty. Facebook worked wonders for getting Betty the sketch series and now the voice of the people is moving onto a new campaign. The 88-year-old comedy darling is being endorsed for another hosting gig — this time at the Oscars! — by her fans on the social website. That’s right — Betty Fanatics want our Golden Girl, now 88, to provide the entertainment for Hollywood’s biggest night.

The group, which started this week, already has more than 14,000 followers.
