After she used funny bone and Midas touch to give Saturday Night Live its highest-ratings in almost two years, campaigns are springing up all over the web to get Emmy-winning darling Betty White even more showbiz gigs.

Not only is Betty, 88, a favorite to host this year’s Emmy Awards, the self-professed “Luckiest Broad on Two Feet” is being courted to join Cloris Leachman and Buzz Aldrin as one of the select few seniors to show off their fancy footwork on Dancing With The Stars.

A snitch spills to PopEater’s Naughty & Nice: “‘Dancing With The Stars’ would love to have Betty White grace the dance floor next season. Not only would she guarantee great ratings, she would also make it easier for a lot of big celebrities — who up to now have been sitting on the fence — to sign on. There is no one bigger or more respected than Betty White.”

In addition, a new grassroots effort is growing online to have Betty co-host the Primetime Emmy Awards alongside comedian Jimmy Fallon this summer.

“It is quite obvious after Betty White’s job hosting ‘SNL’ on May 8th, that she is more than worthy of hosting the 2010 Emmys,” reads a new Facebook page entitled “Betty White Must Host The 2010 Emmys.”
