Ben & Jerry’s “Hubby Hubby” Ice Cream Honors Gay Marriage In Vermont
Ben & Jerry’s has temporarily renamed its “Chubby Hubby” ice cream “Hubby Hubby” to celebrate the start of legalized gay marriage in its home state of Vermont.
“At the core of Ben & Jerry’s values, we believe that social justice can and should be something that every human being is entitled to,” Ben & Jerry’s CEO Walt Freese in a statement. The action was taken in partnership with Freedom to Marry, a marriage equality group.
