David Beckham H&M “Bodywear” Collection Debuting Feb. 2
Hold onto your hats, Stylistos: There’s a new celebrity clothing line headed to the racks of H&M. Sportsman David Beckham has teamed up with the Swedish-based retail giant to launch a new collection of “Bodywear” that will go on sale Feb. 2, 2012, Women’s Wear Daily said Thursday.
Posh isn’t the only fashion-forward Beckham on the Planet. Over the years, David has become a regular associate of high end fashion trends. Now Mr Golden Balls is swapping his Armani undies for highstreet by collaborating with the store to produce a mens bodywear collection. The launch will be more of a long-term distribuion than a collaboration, according to American Idol creator Simon Fuller, who manages David and his singer-turned-designer wife, Victoria.
“This partnership with H&M is an important step in the evolution of David’s journey from sporting hero to entrepreneur and icon,” Fuller says. “H&M’s enthusiasm and support for this venture, combined with their scale and reach, will continue to enhance the power of David’s image around the world.”
Beckham is “extremely positive” about his designs, which will be available in 1800 H&M stores in around 40 countries worldwide.
“In H&M we have found the perfect partner to collaborate with going forward,” the soccer ace added. “…I’m excited and looking forward to showcasing the range to H&M customers.”
Hey guys, would you wear a line of bodywear designed by Becks?
