Tensions are brewing behind the scenes of ABC’s The View. Co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg, Sherri Shepherd, Elisabeth Hasselbeck, and Joy Behar aren’t pleased about all the attention boss Barbara Walters’ best-selling autobiography has been getting on the hit daytime talk show.

The cast believes Babs is using the series to pimp her popular book, Audition.

“Off the air, the co-hosts have complained to executives that the show have become an infomercial for Barbara,” a set insider gushed to In Touch. “Joy didn’t get to promote her recent book When You Need A Lift nearly as much, and Sherri has been asked to wait to announce her deal for her own memoir, Permission Slips, until Barbara’s summer book tour is over.”
