Barack Obama 30 Minute Commercial Video
Here’s video from the October 29th 2008 commercial / speech that everyone is talking about. Below, we’ve pasted YouTube video segments of the thirty minute Barack Obama infomercial ad.
The commercial has what might amount to Obama’s closing argument – his attempt to resonate with the struggling middle class, one last time. You listening Joe The Plumber? That’s you. Barack Obama is for you, Joe. He’s for you and the millions of other hard working Americans. He’s going to give your future small business a tax break for creating American jobs. He’s going to remove tax breaks from companies who ship jobs (and profits) out of America. Vote Obama, Joe.
Since the Obama commercial was 30 minutes long, it had to be broken up into 4 parts. What did you think of the ad? Does the video come off too polished? Does Barack Obama do a good job at closing the deal with this speech to the American public? Does the fact that it was technically a commercial (or worse an infomercial) tarnish it’s effect?

This ad depicted the reality of the economic crisis. People who truly care about the issue would vote for Obama. People who are supporting McCain, who has failed to unveil an economic plan or any other plan that would repair our society, are probably doing so because of race. I watched the video and was amazed about the hearts of people that Obama touched. He will be a outstanding president. He understand the way we as middle class people struggle from day to day. He understand how a single parent works two and three jobs just to try to make ends meet and when you receive your pay check you do not have enough money to pay all your bills. It very diffuclt to have your car on empty and go to the gas station with only two dollars of coins in your pocket. It very difficult to go to the grocery store to buy grocery and when you get to the checkout line you discover that you don’t have enough money to pay for your grocery so at the moment you have to decide what to put back. Obama have talked with the middle class people he understand all needs. The 30 minutes commerical was very informative. Thank you obama for taking time out of your schedule and listening to the American people cry out for CHANGE.

We keep saying that this is the best country in the world. Here are two ways to make it a reality:
1) Keep saying that we’re the best, again and again and louder and louder, and tell anybody who questions you to leave the country. Stop investing in education and infrastructure and call anybody who questions you a socialist; let corporate America take control of everything and call anybody who questions you a communist. Use your “best country in the world” arrogance to justify wars of imperial expansion and call anybody who questions you a terrorist. Then bitch, piss, whine and moan about how your problems are everybody else’s fault, close your borders, and scare people into complacency by telling them that they’re in imminent danger of attack from anti-Americans.
Or you could try this: Invest in schools so that our workforce is actually powered by world-class education. Replace our 20th-century energy and military infrastructures with systems that are actually more secure and more efficient. Give tax-breaks to normal people so that normal people can do things like start a new business, instead of the members of America’s billionaire club. Gear your health care system towards actually providing health care for the nation. Treat your fellow citizens, of America and of the world, with respect, and use your military when you actually have a clear mission.
I think that this is the best country in the world because is has the most potential in the world- but we have to work hard and work together to make good on that promise. Just waving the flag and screaming doesn’t cut it. Good video. Go Obama!

And what does that say about the drug company-doctor connection? Health care is a business in this country and I’d like to see that stop. I believe Obama comes from a background where he has gained compassion, it shows, and I do believe he is for the working people. I like his ideas on creating jobs through alternative technologies that help people and our environment, that’s smart. I like his cutting tax breaks for jobs that go overseas, good one. I do not believe in the war in Iran or in any war, and given Obama’s history, I really don’t think he is either. I like the idea of him taking over because then I think companies like Blackhawk or Haliburten will not be able to make profit off the war like they’re doing now, at the cost of lives of people who didn’t know what they were getting themselves into–many of them not having alternatives because of our economy. I think Obama is brave and kind, and I am most definately voting for him.

Congratulations, you win the prize for today’s most ignorant posting! Smoothing the process for legal immigration means these people will be PAYING TAXES and thereby improving your life as well as their own.
Have you ever actually worked with any immigrants? I have: every single one I know works WAY harder than anyone else I’ve ever met in my life. Why? Because they make less than minimum wage, and are putting 80 hour weeks to send money back to their families…all so you can go to the restaurant and have clean dishes, so you can go to the grocery store and pick up your Tropicana, so you can eat cheap beef and not have to think about the working conditions in meat processing plants.
So stop spewing ignorance about them “taking your job” unless you’re dying to get on the line picking through animal intestines. Not your top job? Didn’t think so. Show some respect and gratitude.
The point is, most immigrants would MUCH rather be here legally….would MUCH rather not live in fear, would MUCH rather contribute taxes in exchange for the same wage that Americans make. This doesn’t happen, though, because our entire economy is built on this amazing silent workforce that lets us keep our prices down. Americans pay less for food (for example) than any other civilization at any time in history.
Almost everyone in this nation is the descendant of relative recent immigrants…only the laws then welcomed them and let them succeed whereas the laws today do not.

These people should be held directly accountable. After all they work for us. Vote how you want just remember We can’t trust any media 100%. So when you think you know based on hearing it. It’s possible it’s just a lie. Unfortunately this leaves me very confused.

Barack Obama, I am ready for the change that you will make in 09.I hope that they give you the chance to show the world what you can do.
Sarah Palin’s I am not close minded but you are not the one. We as American need to take note that McCain cheated on his wife when she became ill and left, so what will he do in the white house when faced with a problem, he goes an hire someone young and stupid to bring on more bad changes! Everyone Needs to Vote. If you dont then don’t complain.

Great inspiritional video. This video shows the real pain and struggle the americans are going thru. He comes from working middle class. He knows what we go thru every day to make the ends meet from putting the kids to school, paying our utility bills to paying for the meds. The older generation who should be retired and enjoying their lifes are going back to work to pay their bills. If McCain wins we will be one of the weakest nations of this world. …instead of recovering our economy we will be more in the dark dungeons. Obama has to renew and rejuevenate the whole American system…wealthy people are scared that might lose their wealth and will have to pay taxes…but who cares a S**T about these rich Republicans specially that dumb Sarah Palin who McCain is using as dumb secretary like a barbie doll…! McCain needs to retire and take care of his grandkids…LOL!!! I love Obama and i think he is the best…and Yes we Americans need him and he is the only who can put America on track…He is the voice of the main street and he is the only I can put my trust in..! He knows us and he understands us..He is just one of us…! He has a heart, he is real, he is not of the those dramatic expensive lobbyists….he is intelligent, calm, full of integrity.
Haters need to stay away from putting their comments on this website..as it says Republicans are DICKS…!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Enron, Katrina, corporate globalization failing average Americans by shipping jobs overseas, closing steel mills, 9/11, the fake war in Iraq, no health care for 1/3 of Americans, U.S. federal debt passed the $10 trillion mark, terrible primary education system(37th in the world), 8 years with no attention to Israel, bomb bomb bomb Iran, terrible world view of American, Mr. McCain doesn’t know how many homes or cars he has, Mrs. Palin says her international experience comes from the fact that Alaska in across the Bering Straight, middle class Americans making $2000 less (factoring inflation) than their parents, retirement’s in jeopardy, teachers having to work 2 jobs to survive, crumbling road infrastructure, disappearing social security… etc. etc.
If I ever ran my business this poorly it would never survive (AND NO ONE WOULD HELP ME OUT)
As a small business owner who earns more then 200k I’m willing to pay a little higher tax to get the country back on track.
God bless American. I hope we make the right decision for “CHANGE”
