A new reality show from E! and producer Ryan Seacrest gives ordinary people the chance to plead for money from rich celebrities and moguls, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

In Bank of Hollywood, based on the U.K. series Fortune: Million Pound Giveaway, a panel of celebrities takes pitches from Americans in need of cash. The proposals range from a do-gooder raising money for charity to a grad student who can’t afford a ring to propose to his girlfriend. Panelists give away their own money; amounts start at $2,000.

The panel includes Hollywood socialite Candy Spelling, French-American poker player Vanessa Rousso, Wilhelmina Models president Sean Patterson and Pussycat Dolls singer Melody Thornton.

“The idea’s simple,” says Seacrest. “We are giving away tons of money to everyday people to alleviate the stress of today’s climate and have fun.”

The eight-episode series debuts Dec. 14 @ 10PM on E!

I was so delighted when i visited a friend and came across your GOD given program. i just pray that may God replenish your pockets a thousand time fold.I really would have love to partake in your program live but i am financially incapable that is why i have to participate through this medium.In God’s name i wish to beg for 10000$ to continue my education. A dream i had and my father and mother promise to help me bring it to reality before the wicked hands of death took them away in the year 2003 and 4004 respectively.A dream of enrolling into a British college in my region to be trained as a chartered accountant.I saw my dreams gaining hope when i watch your program and saw how helpful you were to humanity and i believe i will not be an exception to this heavenly blessing. if am not trusted by my word and the bank of Hollywood deem it necessary to help me realize my dreams of ever becoming a certified chartered accountant, then let them register me them self. the college is Legacy International College of accountancy and sciences with head quarter in the UK where annual subscription is paid and the rest of the payment is made in various regions where classes are to be taken.it is a three years cause that is why am asking for that amount, since i know part of the money will help me to pay for my other expenditures like tuition fee,buy books and tutorial classes.why waiting to get help from you stay blessed. please you are my only hope, i don’t want to stay at home doing nothing because i have a family to take care of
