This was such an obvious hoax that I am surprised that everyone can’t see it! That Dad/husband appears to be an out-of-control control freak who is abusing his entire family…witness the temper tantrum he had in the home video of the balloon launch……he is involving his family in all kinds of dangerous and illegal endeavors for publicity…..

It sure sounds like the kid didn’t lie. It was a quick and honest response, which is more than you can say for his sociopathic dad. As a matter of fact, I think maybe the father is bi-polar, with mood swings, risk taking behavior, and the rest. Child Protective Services should take those kids out of that environment and get them some parents that are mature adults for the kids, instead of fools acting out. The authorities should throw the book at the guy, just to discourage other wing nuts.

Before the boy made the statement I was a little suspicious. I’d never seen the “Wife Swap” show and was getting the impression that they were just an unusual geeky science family. So I was curious and watched the show.

The parents are incredibly rude (both), the father behaves worse than those boys (who cuss, are obnoxious and were extremely disrespectful to the Mom who came to stay with them by making faces at her, calling her names, cursing at her, etc…all while the father didn’t bother to correct them and seemed to encourage it with own behavior). At one point he was screaming at the woman, insulting her and threw a cup of milk at her (I know of someone who is mentally unstable facing assault charges for throwing a cup of cola at someone during a group therapy session). The man needs an anger management course to say the least.

Then all this comes out, a report that the family had called 911 before and hung up. Police showed up and the mother had broken blood vessels in her eye and a mark on her cheek…said it was because of problems with her contact lenses. Guess it was just a coincidence that someone had called 911 and they heard a man screaming in the background!

There’s another video of these boys singing in a video – I think the song is “Pussification” and they are cussing. The parents appear to encourage these boys to behave like wild animals. Having ill behaved children is a hazard to these kids, in and of itself…I’ve yet to see kids behave as poorly as these were revealed to behave on “Wife Swap”. The fathers yelling would be considered abusive by a lot of people, never mind the throwing milk on a guest and that 911 call.

If this was a hoax they (or one of them in the event that both weren’t involved) should be charged and pay the costs. Not just for making a false report, but also the exploitation of this boy and encouraging delinquency.

I think the parents should win an award. The idiots of the year award. What kind of parent would have that dangerous of item just setting in the yard for the kids to play around or in? I would go with reckless indangerment charges for starters. I’d follow that with a second charge, unbelievable stupidity or dumb as a post charges. Parents that stupid should be fixed so they can’t have kids. Who pays the bill for these idiots behavior? I worked for the creep in LA. He was always trying to get famous and get his shows on the air. I don not doubt this was just another one of his schemes to get famous nad get some show he has planned on the air. Sick. The guy is sick.

i was watching this last night around 2-3 in the morning and i had heard it could be fake for publicity and as soon he asked Falcon,”Why didn’t you come out from hiding when you heard your parents calling your name,” i was in total shock to hear him say,”you guys said we did this for the show.” And in the whole interview you can tell they are nervous..i think he should’ve asked Falcon more questions,and maybe they could’ve seen it was all fake! I don’t believe this crap at all. & i dont see how parents would put their kids in that situation and lead so many people on a hunt when their are really people out therethat need help!

Check out the way Falcon is sitting the first half of the interview and what happens after he says ‘We did it for the show’. It looks like his dad is twisting his spine and the kid can’t even move.. Weird!

If adults aren’t somehow punished for this sort of thing more clinical sociopaths like Mr. Heene will start exploiting society and children for profit.

Poor kids, think of the emotional trauma and damage he is causing them. Unfortunately sociopathy has no cure.

He should be fined for littering, negligence, endangering lives and breaking several FAA regulations.

It seems implausible to believe the family actually say one of the children video taped the 6 year old child getting into that jiffy pop balloon contraption with a supposed cardboard bottom and he could somehow be able to secure himself inside of it?? If the boy’s weight is between 40-45 lbs.and the speed of the balloon is traveling @ approximately 25 miles per hr in a 2 hour span at an elevation exceeding 500′ in the air and it finally lands around 50 miles from the home the scientist father logically explain exactly how he woud believe his son could have been inside of it? It truly defys logic and sounds like a publicity stunt or hoax of some sort. It is most unfortunate for parents to involve small children in dangerous activities, such as storm chasing, mommie swapping and bogus balloon mischief.
