It’s been a quarter century since Marty McFly traveled back in time in a flying DeLorean In a TODAY Show reunion special, see what B2TF stars Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd, Lea Thompson, and Mary Steenburgen — joined by film’s director Robert Zemeckis and its theme-song singer, Huey Lewis –are up to today.

Back to the Future became the highest grossing film of 1985, spawned two sequels and earned five Academy Award nominations.

“There are people who know a lot more about the movie than I do. They know trivia and ask me about the space-time continuum and I say ‘I don’t know I was just in the movie!” says Michael, who played Marty in the beloved film. “But it’s a real privilege to be part of something that means something to people and is a positive thing in their lives and makes them happy.”

To mark the anniversary, the trilogy’s makers are re-releasing the film on DVD and Blu-Ray in HD on Tuesday, Oct. 26.
