Back To School Style: How To Dress For Game Day

It’s the end of August and I can smell fall approaching. A time of sweaters, candles and…football. Yes ladies, it’s officially football season and for those of you heading back to the dorms you know how crucial college football can be to your educational experience! It’s a chance to hang out with friends, meet new people and enjoy everything your school has to offer.

With football season comes the question, “How do I stay stylish when I go to the games?” And how do you remain fashionable when you’re wearing such casual clothes? Well, I’ve created some looks for inspiration. I used the Polyvore app and the Victoria’s Secret Pink collegiate collection shirts to create looks that will help you feel the school spirit and keep you looking fresh.

Simplicity is great during college football season. Rock a cute shirt with boyfriend jeans, Chuck Taylors and simple accessories. Fitbits are great because you’re bound to be walking a ton around campus tailgating before the games. You’ll look cute, and you’ll be super comfortable.

Comfort is key when you’re spending an entire day tailgating, going to the game and celebrating after, but you still want to look polished even if you’re wearing your yoga pants. Add a cute tank and a flannel that you can either tie around your waist or wear when the night turns cool. A simple pair of Keds completes this comfortable, stylish look.

Football also means rain and cooler temps so keep your feet and hair dry with a cute pair of Wellies and a simple black baseball hat. Black jeans and a soft and cozy sweatshirt in your favorite team’s colors will finish off this warm rainy day look.

Looking cool is no problem when you’re representing your school’s team. Throw in some Timberlands and camo jeans and an awesome pair of sunnies, and you’ll look like the coolest girl in the stands.
