The world’s highest-paid supermodel is a supermommy times two: Brazilian catwalker Gisele Bundchen and her NFL star hubster Tom Brady welcomed a baby girl they’ve named Vivian Lake in a Boston-area hospital on Wednesday.
In a statement posted to her Facebook page, Gisele celebrated Baby Vivian’s arrival — which comes just in time for Christmas:
“We feel so lucky to have been able to experience the miracle of birth once again and are forever grateful for the opportunity to be the parents of another little angel. Vivian Lake was born at home on December 5. She is healthy and full of life. Thank you all for your support and well wishes. We wish you and your families many blessings.”
Tom and Gisele are also parents to son Benjamin, 2. Additionally, Tom — quarterback for the New England Patriots — has a five-year-old son, John, with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan. Gisele, 32, has been vocal about her love of children and her desire for a bustling brood:
“I want to have a big family. I love kids,” Bundchen once said.
Gisele hasn’t made headlines this big since February 2012, after she was videotaped slamming the Patriots’ receivers for the failed plays she apparently believes cost her beloved “Tommy” a coveted fourth Super Bowl ring. The Pats’ 21-17 defeat marked the second time Giants quarterback Eli Manning has bested Brady on the Super Bowl stage.
The Brazilian supermodel was caught on camera lambasting No. 12’s teammates after last year’s game in Indianapolis. Bundchen hit the news for angrily defending her husband against taunts hurled by heckling Giants fans.
