Avril Lavigne is introducing a brand new merchandise line in conjunction with her latest album “The Best Damn Thing.” Avril has a new album, a new t-shirt, and she needs a model.

The reformed SK8ter girl is looking for a new “Merch Model.” Avril has teamed up with Buzznet.com for an exclusive “Get Dressed by Avril” Merch Model Search.

Entering is easy! All fans need to do is take a “model” photo of themselves in an old Avril t-shirt, or if they don’t have one, they can get creative and make one and then upload their photo to http://www.buzznet.com/groups/avrilcontest for all the world to see and comment on. The people with the top 10 “Buzzed” photos will go on to Round 2 and will receive the newest Avril t-shirt to photograph themselves in. Avril will personally review the 10 finalists’ photos and make the ultimate decision as to who will become her new Official Merch Model. The deadline to enter is Monday, May 21, 2007 and the winner will be announced in early June.
