Avril Lavigne has finished work on her first fragrance the first edition of her planned cosmetics empire.

In 2008, the singer signed a major deal with Procter and Gamble to produce a new toiletries line, that wil include perfume, aftershave, bath oil, bath soap, shower gel, body shampoo, and body lotion.

Avril’s Black Star collection arrives later this year.

“I’m traveling to London next week where I’m about to announce my latest project… my veryfirst fragrance!” Avril blogged on Monday. “I’m really excited and can’t wait to share it with you. It has been a pretty cool experience. It’s so me in a bottle. I love the packaging. The name is Black Star!”
