Avril Lavigne was left in tears after rapper LIL’ JON stole the spotlight during the pair’s New Year’s Eve co-hosting gig at Las Vegas’ Prive Nightclub. The Girlfriend star was scheduled to perform the countdown to midnight on Monday, but was reportedly left “visibly upset” after the hip-hop star “grab his own mike and steal (sic) the show”, according to New York gossip column PageSix. The twenty-three year old cried to husband Deryck Whibley: “I wanted to do the countdown!”
